Hello,
I am new to Mercedes, so i do apologize if my question seems silly))
I have a mercedes e220 w212 (2009/11) with 410k on the clock. Engine chain was not changed.
When cold start there is no metal rattling heard, when engine is hot (80C) there is also no any metal rattling heard.
I only heard metal ratlling once when pdf filter regeneration process was completed and the engine temperature was 98C i stopped the engine and then in a few minutes started it again then i heard 4-5 metal clicks, but probably it was heard because chain have strayched a bit from the temperature.
Please suggest do I need to change the chain because of the kilometrage or no need to touch it since there is no signs of wearness?
