Intermittent AC

Guys, I am having issue with my AC 2010 e350, where it is intermittent. When it works the AC is cold, but sometimes seems the compressor is not engaged and only warm air. Sometimes if I turn it on/auto and rev the engine i get cold air and stays cold.

The compressor does not have a clutch. Seems like either compressor/SAM issue? Anyone with similar problem?

I had similar issue but was able to take it to dealer under ELW. Very intermittent issue but they were able to duplicate. Tapping on the compressor got it going, the compressor itself wound up getting replaced. If the operation on yours is also intermittent I would think SAM issue is less likely. But worthwhile to verify on a scantool.

You should read the topic how to fully troubleshoot the system with only seconds of your time and $100 scanners.
It is all there, down below the section page.
