Thumbs up Pedal Box

Anyone tried it,,heard of it.?I had one put in today,,my Indy mechanic put one in and in minutes the throttle response and any turbo lag was gone..it's a cheap upgrade and very adjustable to my style of driving.

There are several similar devices which just change the amplification of the electronic pedal signal. Most common I see here is Sprint Booster, search the forums. Coming from the old CLK 430 which definitely had some pedal lag, I find the E550 biturbo already twitchy off the line, so I don't see the need here. Cheers if you like it though.

I've got the Sprint Booster on my E500 and it's the absolute BEST mod I've done.
Don't leave home without it.

Yeah, I have the PedalBox+ on my E350. It's great, I can switch from stock to race with two steps in between, and "E" vs. "S" works on each individual setting. I picked it up here on the AMG forum. I had the Sprint Booster on my AMG's, but find the PedalBox to be alot better. However, neither of these mods add horsepower, They only change the amount of gas sent to the engine per distance of accelerator depression than specified in stock form. This gives quicker acceleration (more gas=higher rpm) which seems to change the shift points -- i.e. the stock, adaptable transmission thinks you are driving more aggressively.

It definitely adds responsiveness,, no need for more HP with 402 already, but it actually works with the tranny as well,,when I switch from E to S on the console,, its very noticeably eager...So far I like it.

It's worth it. The price is ok. Just get one on their sales website for a better ticket. sprintboostersales.com
