I am not an apple guy by any means but I do have an old iPhone 4S from work that I store music on and leave plugged into my MMI. I am thinking about getting a used iPod touch 6th gen so I can download from Amazon Music, which requires iOS 10 my old 4S does not support iOS 10). The Touch has a lightning port. If I were to use one of those lightning-to-30-pin adapters to run it off the MMI, would it still behave the same? Like, would I get all the same menus and track information and all? Would it charge properly? This is for a 2014 W212.
