Hello all, was hoping this wouldn’t be the way I introduce myself! Bought my wife a 14 e550 2 months ago. Indy gave it the once over so felt somewhat comfortable about the purchase. She drove an 05 Audi S4 for 5 years until we bought a Cadillac Xt5 new last year. She didnt like that so here we are. Great car, I have found the governor at 130. Anyway she went to back out of the garage and got a message to check right reverse light then a check left reverse light. I get home and no reverse lights at all and I can’t get into the trunk to poke around. Key works manually but nothing else. Search the web all weekend long, pull the liner on both sides of trunk looking for broken wires but everything seems extremely tidy. The only fuse I’m able to find that has anything to do with the trunk is #61, 40 amps and it’s fine. The information available for this car seems to not exist. Apparently if you own this car your expected to take it to the dealer. The closest one is 3 hrs away. I can take it to the Indy but I would rather exhaust all my options first. Any ideas out there?
