Auxiliary Heat Remote control Manual

Hi!
I have Auxiliary heater with remote factory installed on my 2011 W212 . The heater is working fine. But i can't get manual or info how to operate with the remote control.
Does anybody have a English manual for this feature of the W212 or any other Mercedes model?

You're Welcome.

Please tell me:
- Does your remote control the same as pictured at the video and on the .pdf?
- Are you able to control the amount of heat as described at the video and/or instructions?

My remote seems the same, but I believe I can't have access to all the options that appear on the video...

Thanks.

Hi!
My remote is the same like in the video, but... - can't access to all fucnctions.
I only have :
1. 3 timers ( access via right upper small button/arrow)
2. ON/OFF buttons
3. Current status ( access with te upper left small button/arrow)
And tha's it - no other functions like Time, Heater operationl time in min, heater Comfort level etc.
I tried with remote controller teaching - but nothing really happened.
I'm still looking and searchig for info about that. Finally i will go to the local dealer to ask them about the T100 remote controller.

HI, Thanks a lot for the feedback.
So, it makes sense...because It is the same with my remote :-D. (I only have 2 timers)
Although our command says T100 (if you remove the battery it states T100), I guess it's a "limited" version of the T100.

I don't believe the T100 original command from Webasto will give the additional info (Comfort level, inside temperature etc..) but it would be nice.

Honestly the only thing I would like to change is the "Heater Operation Time"... by default on mine is 50min...which I believe is too much.

Tell me if you find any additional info. it would be nice to understand the differences. :-)

Hi
Yeah - 50 min are too much. They said drive time after departure = to HOT time. So let say 30 min drive from home to office so the HOT time will be 30, instead of 50.
I will tell you if or what i find.

Maybe I didn't get your answer correctly (It may happen because English is not my first or second language :-D ), but:
- The Heating time is to be used when the car is parked (and cold), in the way Webasto uses the Diesel from the car, to heat up the water from the cooling system in order to heat the car AND the oil, so the car can start and be driven immediately without the dangers of having cold and thick oil (which is bad for the engine).
- When I said 50m it's too much time, I was just referring for an example when it's not too cold. In these situations, the car wouldn't need 50min to reach the desired temperature (I don't know if it's intelligent enough to switch off the system when reaches the desired temperature before the 50m?? )

- When we set a departure time, the car knows the inside temperature, and start the Webasto system 10;20;30 min before (it will vary according to the temperature inside the car at the moment) so it reaches the desired temperature (the one set before at the Thermotronic A/C system).

I guess I also need to make further testing...but the winter has not arrived yet.... :-)

Almost correct
There is a settings that allows you to decide the level of comfort - C1 to C5 (reachable with the left arrows for normal T100THM remote controllers). C levels are for : C1 Lower comfort temperature (short operating time)
C5 Higher comfort temperature (long operating time).
Also, 30 min is default setting of the webasto for the time the car is preheated - this option can be modified as well with the T100HTM ( most likely our remotes doesn't have this feature ).
I want to do the proper "teach"procedure for T100 remote - with the fuses of the Webasto itself ( i'm still not done this).

Good luck. I hope it works... but it seems "too good and easy" to be true :-)

Other option should be to teach the "original" Webasto T100HTM with our system.

EDIT:
Mercedes T100 remote

Look at the pics for this remote...it appears all the other functions...

Also from the online Manual:
"
The auxiliary heating switches off automatically after 50 minutes. This time limit can be altered. To do this, visit a qualified specialist workshop. "
