Disconnecting Negative Battery Terminal
I will be installing a powered subwoofer in my 2014 E350 and I will need to disconnect the Negative Battery Terminal at the trunk battery. Will this cause any problems or require for anything to be reset after I reconnect? I've installed many audio systems/accessories in vehicles but have never tried in the Mercedes so I want to be prepared.

You will probably only have to set the time after and will reset the trip meter 'from reset'. Be sure to close all glass fully to avoid any auto up/down switch issues.

No issues on the W212. There is a small backup battery under the dash that keeps all electronics up.
