Quick engine question

Basically my question is, was there ever a 3.5 twin turbo for the e400 from the years 14-16? I know the w212 E400 has the 3.0 liter twin turbo, but I'm getting told that there was a 3.5 ttV6 for a short time? But I've never heard of it, was it only available in Europe or something?

It appears that your information is correct, (3.0 though) for MY 2015 & 2016 per the Auto Brochures website.

2014

2015

2016

(Note HP Torque increase for E63, more grunt! )

I hope you realize that MB makes whole variety of engines, who never make it to America?
When I chat on Polish W212 forum, the members there have their cars with over 20 different engines, when only 5 of them made it to America and seems all of them detuned for different fuel and different smogs.
W212 were also sold with manual transmissions. Who'd have think of that?

IIRC, There WAS such an engine, called the M276DELA35, but it was not offered in the W212 sedan. The existing TT V6 was the M276DELA30, at 3.0 liters displacement. From what I read when I first got my 2015 E400, the published specs (HP, TQ, etc.) were the same for both the 3.0 and 3.5, but I never ran across a car that used the 3.5. Maybe in markets outside the US, but not in the W212 sedan chassis?

Best i could find was https://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail...&t=5108490&p=2. That said, and based on your location in profile, not in the US.
