Softwer / Firmware update E350
Hello, I am new here and new with the Benz, happy owner of E350 2014 (facelift).
I would like to ask few questions for the car generaly - i can see that there is updates for the "Softwer" and i am not sure how to check my current version(s) of the ECU, or SAM ? (What ever is that) The idea is when i arrive to the dealer i would like to request an update for all the "modules" and ECU - so please educate me -
1) How many "Computers" this car has? Is all the infomration stored into central ECU/computer and it controlls the rest of the attached devices or they are few others?
2) How to make sure everything into the car is updated propely? (My dealer is far from the good one...)
3) I found quite a few service / bulletines and i am wondering if my car is above surtain VIN code, that should means in the factory they resolved the issues or fit new updated parts?
