Help - Check Engine Light
So, before anyone says "check other posts in the forum," I have been stalking it for a few weeks now. I'm getting code "U0402 Invalid Data Received From TCM" on my 2013 E350. I need recommendations on what could POTENTIALLY be the issue and what recommendations would be for fixes. I bought a Innova 3040e in hopes that I would be able to clear the codes, but one of them is a "permanent" code (Showing 3 codes all the same U0402, but one is pending, one is generic, and one is permanent). Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

You are lucky that code is well covered like in https://www.troublecodes.net/ucodes/u0402/
I had a code on my diesel and only answer was on ... Ford forum.
Anyway. looks like you might need new electric plate for your transmission. I still would take the car to a dealer or qualify shop to confirm.
BTW worry only about active or pending codes. Ignore historic and permanent.
