Transmission Fluid
One of the mechanics here told me that we can use only one type of transmission fluid otherwise it can ruin the entire transmission assembly.
Inputs?
Tia!

Once you find out, you can get a case of 12 quarts from a Shell distributor, usually around $60-$65 for a case of 12 quarts.

I ordered this from FCP Euro, I checked the A89 transmission option but find the descriptor a little weird.

Click the link for the Pentosin transmission fluid. Color Blue:
I am not saying it isn't right but the first time I have heard of Blue transmission fluid. I have no reason to doubt FCP Euro and Pentosin I have used their CHF before when I was flushing and re servicing my 08 Volvo power steering fluid. I have always grown up the basic color groups for vehicle fluid.
Motor Oil: Golden when fresh and eventually turns black with use.
Coolant: Green
Windshield Washer Fluid: Blue
Transmission Fluid: Red
Power Steering Fluid: Clear with a slight golden tint/dye.
I grew up with those colors but then again advances over the years.
Mercedes/Volvo Coolant is Blue, Audi/VW coolant is pink, others are Orange (DEXCOOL)
P/S fluid is green for the few remaining vehicles that still use hydraulic power steering instead of the Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS)
W/S Washer fluid is blue, green, yellow etc.
I figure part of the different color dyes is to make the purpose readily visible (Coolant for example) Blue Green, Orange, Pink and possibly by design so manufacturers can either trademark or design specs that may limit usage to that vehicle line.
Any Thoughts? I don't want to ruin specs, but again used to the traditional. crimson red dye for previous automatic transmission fluids.
