Cabin Air Filter brand Suggestions

Hello guys,
I found the URL for DIY, bit didn't find a post for brand suggestions.
Shall I get the OEM one or the Charcoal one?
I've changed it around 2 years ago at 42k and I believe it is definitely time to change again and I want to DIY.

Please share which one to buy.

Can I buy this one?

Mann has a charcoal and a new super duper cabin filter which I have never tried. Amazon may have best prices. Far be it for me to tell a man how often he should change a filter... I change mine once a year after the pollen has fallen.

For a non-critical cabin air filter -- I have no allergies -- whatever is cheap works for me. Aren't all of them charcoal based?

No AMG unfortunately, and we'll just leave it as that

Not really. For many cars, each OE manufacturer can and often will offer a simple particulate filter, and an activated charcoal version for more money. I found this to be true DIYing my own for at least Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus cars. The difference isn't much to think about, and the activated charcoal filters do the additional job of absorbing fumes and smells (like car exhaust), so I usually get the activated charcoal version if that's available.

Note that, with regards to allergies, I don't know of too many car cabin air filter that is HEPA-rated. Certainly, the prices of the simple particulate and activated charcoal filters suggest they aren't HEPA-rated (they're too inexpensive).

Bosch has an offering for HEPA cabin filters, some say it is too restrictive on the blower systems. I installed one in my son's car and haven't observed that problem.

If it helps, I bought this one last year. I've had it for 15 months now and still filters great.

Same here, in fact mine's probably due for a change.
I remember the first filter I bought was a brand I wasn't familiar with, sorry can't remember the name, but it was cheap.
It didn't fit properly, spent time fiddling with it and decided to toss it and get the Mann filter. I'm sure there are others like Bosch, etc. that work great, just relaying my own experience.
