W212 Used ECU Replacement.

Hi everyone,

I bought a W212 e220 Bluetech. Y.O.M 2015 last quarter. This car did not start when I purchased it, of course I got a good price. The previous owner has sent the ECU to be cloned, and it got misplaced is the story I was told. So the car does not have a ECU at the moment.

I'm trying to figure out exactly what parts I need to gather from a donor car if I was to replace it with a used ECU.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Haven't been able to figure this out yet.

One technician told me that I might have to replace 50 odd modules on the car to able to make it work with a used ECU. Is this true??

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys..!!!

What country you are in?
In USA mechanics don't mess with ECU. I think all indy in USA who works on programming can be counted on fingers of 1 hand.
Dealer will only program new ECU to your car.
'But judging from your handle, you are in Europe and having Polish roots, I know in Eastern Europe you have lot of skilled technicians who work for much less than $180/hr US dealers do.

Why don't you go to the dealer to find out what you need? Or do you have a stolen car in your hands that you cannot take to them for the VIN scan?

Sorry but your post raises this question...
