LED Headlights not as bright?

So my wife has a w205 and her headlights are crazy bright and light up the entire road. My car feels a bit dim... maybe over time doesn’t shine as bright? Anyone else have this problem?

In general LED's dim slowly over time. Not sure of the science behind it.

I worked in the large scale LED display industry for many years and larger venues would keep good new spare sets of LED modules burning so that when we replaced a burned out section, the replacements were a similar brightness to the rest. I would also notice this phenomenon when replacing discrete LEDs in many various lighting applications.

I feel like mine aren’t as bright. I didn’t buy the car new but maybe it was always like this. Then again my wife’s car has 384839283 led in her headlight👿

Subjective...
Need to measue lumens... OR

see how far away you can see a reflector or street sign at ground level.
But before this test you need to ensure lights properly aimed as that has huge impact on reflector distance.

light color might make you think it is not as bright.
