Recommend Seat Cover?
Have a 2014 E350 with MBTex seats. Had a tear on the drivers seat (40k miles). It cost $600 to replace the cushion. Not anxious to do it again so I contemplating using a 'seat cover' to minimize future wear. Has any done this? Any recommendations for a seat cover? (bottom only) . Thanks for any input!

MB tex can last hundreds thousand miles.
Just remove screwdrivers from rear pockets when entering.

My dealer did with 90% good will coverage even after being out of warranty........ if you search the forum, it happens quite frequently. MB-tex blows. Not the same MB-tex from 20 years ago. In fact the whole seat bottom assembly is shockingly thinner than before - the swoopy and low slung styling has to compress the interior dimension/parts somewhere.

Gee, thanks for your insightful response (not). It's not the fabric that fails, its the seams that rip / separate.
Thanks!

Thanks. The dealer did indieed cove the replacement the first time (even out of warranty.....). Perhaps my owning 3 Mercedes (E350, GLK, SLK) all purchased from him swayed his feelings! But its the seam, not the fabric that failed. Thanks!

I've had these ZACASi vinyl and suede seat covers on since October 2017 and really enjoy not worrying. Most who don't know think they are the stock seats!
Downside is that they are not cheap...
