Enabling DVD and Nav address entry while in motion
BimmerGuru provides a simple software unlocking to enable video in motion on the w212. No need to install hardware. Takes less than 5 minutes and can be restored back to factory settings. Here's a video on how it's done:

How dangerous placing the driver, his passengers and public at risk!
Someone could get killed.

I'd rather pass one car like this on the Interstate, where the wife in the passenger seat is watching a "chick flick" while the disinterested husband has both hands on the wheel looking forward... than passing 30%-40% of ALL cars where the driver is rubber-necking and pecking away on his/her smartphone with one hand, or two.

2014 E550-sold 😩
Self-driving cars will change all of this and we can sit back and watch TV, eat, talk on the phone, look at the scenery go by, and work on our obesity all at the same time.

This looks really interesting... but not sure if I want to sink $180 into "interesting".

I think these aftermarket upgrades would be much better -- and more attractive to buyers for the price demanded -- if a more complete list of changes could be programmed into one package. Much better than getting nickeled and dimed for each upgrade desired.
Here's my wish list...
Video in motion (covered)
Navigation entry while in motion. (covered)
Voice reply to Texts while in motion.
plus...
Eco vs Sport Mode default to last position setting.
ECO Stop/Start last position setting (not default to ON)
5-blink lane change
Close trunk lid with fob push (like MB SUVs)
