That is the same for me, HD Radio sources are strong, I tend to turn down the inputs and volume, CD stay the same, SiriusXM same as HD Radio, iPod I tend to turn up the volume and input level.
And to be totally honest, I don't even listen to AM or FM Radio anymore. I'm experimenting with something new. I purchased a Female USB to Female 30 pin Apple connector to take advantage of the iPod connection located in the glove box.
My 2015 BMW X5 has a USB connector in the center console, that I utilize along with a thumb drive containing tons of MP3 music files to play thru the Infotainment system. My thoughts was, why can't I do the same thing in my 07 MB E63.
So I'm awaiting it's arrival in the mail. Will keep you posted in the results.

Agree, depends on the music. My E63S bass is plenty loud but then again don't care for rap crap.Originally Posted by TeeEl
I agree with DFWdude, I don't get the complaints about it. If you're expecting bass like those ghetto Oldsmobiles with a $3000 stereo in a $3000 car... then you're going to be disappointed. But it's by no means nonexistent.
