TIME TO MOVE ON FROM E63S TO...
As the title states. Went in to my Dealership for service B. Car is at 23k miles. Turns 4 years since delivery on the 12th of September. Bought it cash. Have title in hand. Bone stock. PRISTINE condition. Dealership knows me and wants the car badly!!!
What to get next 🤔...

The new GLE63 is months away, and I wouldn't buy one of the old 2019s since the new 2020 tech and interior is amazing. I hear there will be a 2020 GLE550 launch before the 63 that will have the V8tt - probably 90% of the track performance plus some additional functionality if you'd want to tow or go off road.

Weight in this case is not saying everything.
My 2-seater SL500 was 5000 lb vehicle.
MB cars weight several hundreds lb more than same size Japanese.
All those body reinforcement and electric motors have to add to the weight.

It's 1,500 more pounds than the E63 AMG he is dumping. You bet he will feel that extra weight. 5,000 # in the SL is hard to even imagine where they stuffed all the motors and chocolate cake. That is 1,400# more than my 2-door Shelby. That's a lot of electric motors and reinforcement.

Your Shelby has a solid roof? So no need for heavy beams in the floor that will hold everything in lack of roof.
Common misconception that smaller-looking, much lower car has to be lighter.
Than SL has 2 roofs to carry + safety bar, with hydraulic system that has about 8 hydraulic cylinders.

The only thing sillier than a Mercedes SUV (quasi off-road vehicle) is a Mercedes SUV with more motor than it can ever use offroad. Not that any SUV ever sees offroad use in reality.

Another option fellas,,,is Renntech. Renntech in FL John knows and works hand in hand with my dealership. I can get sweet deals on tunes if I decided to but I've always kept my cars stock. Growing up with fathers and grandparents classic cars always stocked and well taken care of.
