I received an after market LED emblem. Installation was easy. Upon wiring the light, used a t-splice and connected red of the low beams with the red wire of the emblem and grounded the black wire to a bolt. It powered the emblem but would NOT turn off upon shutting down the car. Constant flow of electrical charge. Any advice. Thanks.

In sum, I would immediately remove the T-splice from the low beam wire, and run the power wire to the fuse box, where it belongs. Be sure to apply silicone sealant to the t-splice area to reseal the wire to the headlight.

Wiring to the headlight like this is just asking for trouble down the road.
