Using Blind Spot Sensors From New Models

Hello,

Has anybody on here or heard of anyone using a blind spot radar from a new generation Mercedes? My 2010 E550 blind spot radar died a couple months back and I've been looking at local pick-n-pull parts from total vehicles to replace my sensors. I just saw a listing for a 2016 CLA250 and a GLE350 totalled that have parts ready to be pulled. Any thoughts that it would be a simple plug-n-play or should I stick with vehicles around my generations (2010 C-class, GL, ML, E).

- Thanks

Rear bumper left/right radar sensor compatible part #s 0009062600 replaced by 0009062000. Upon replacement “may” need to be checked for current flashware using STAR.
