2015 E550
Looking forward to the collective knowledge of mbworld!

Okay so my friend and I both have Eurocharged Stage 1 ECU tuned W212 Biturbo E550’s. Both with primary and secondary resonators deleted while the catalytic converters and stock mufflers remained. My car is a 4-door 2015 4Matic sedan while his is a 2017 rear wheel drive convertible. Mine was tuned last August 2018 while his was tuned during the summer of 2017. We both use 94 octane gas from Petro Canada.

My friend’s W212 (facelift) 2017 E550 rear wheel drive Eurocharged Tuned primary and secondary resonators deleted

We drove each other’s cars the other day and I came away extremely disappointed to learn that his car accelerates like a BEAST compared to mine! It pins your shoulders to the seat back with incredible force far greater than mine and is so fast that it’s a little scary to drive.

I truly didn’t expect there to be such a great difference in the power generated by the same engines tuned by the same company with the same exhaust mods. I realize there is more power loss at the wheel for 4Matic cars vs rear wheel drive cars but not this noticeable. His car was far more responsive in all gears, had far more torque and just felt like a BEAST is the best way I can describe the overall driving experience.

Has anybody else experienced this or have any other theories why there is such a big difference between the two cars?

2010 C300 4MATIC........ 2011 C63 AMG.............. 2015 CLS400 4MATIC.....
I'm gonna do a slight bump because I'm curious to see the difference in pulls between you two side by side....

Maybe your transmission needs to be reset, put the key in ON position (not car on) floor it, hold for 10 seconds, then release, then turn car on and it should be reset.
