Thoughts on a 2014 wagon?
66,500 miles. $26,000. Dolomite Brown! Luxury model (NOT sport). I live in Philadelphia with horrible roads.
Good Carfax service record. One accident with no airbag deployment (front end damage pics look like a good repair).
Packages : P1, Lighting, Parking Assist, Keyless Go, Driver Assistance, Heated steering wheel and beige leather!
Ventilated front seats (401?) and multicontour seat (432?).
So it seems pretty good (OK no panoramic sunroof....).
Dealer offers a 1 year, 12,000 mile warranty (to be questioned in detail but I assume it is for major stuff).
It seems reasonable.

Actually would like help with build codes vs brochure packages!
Actually I would appreciate a double-check of build codes with packages:
Unknown
810 PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM - The brochure states that the B&O system is unavailable in E350, so I assume this is standard stereo
Luxury (vs Sport) designations
485 (COMFORT RUNNING GEAR)
955 EQUIPMENT PACKAGE ELEGANCE
Keyless Go - as this is a wagon, is this just the keyless go option or the package?
889 KEYLESS - GO
Ventilated Front Seats
401 FRONT SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL
Multicontour Seats
432 DYNAMICS SEAT,FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT
Heated Steering Wheel
443 HEATED STEERING WHEEL
Lighting
608 AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SWITCH (IHC)
640 DYNAMIC LED HEADLAMPS, SAE, RIGHT-HAND TRAFFIC
Parking Assist
235 ACTIVE PARK ASSIST
501 360°-CAMERA
P44 PARKING PACKAGE
Driver Assist:
233 AUTONOMOUS INT. CRUISE CONT. PLUS (DISTRONIC PLUS)
237 ACTIVE BLIND SPOT ASSIST
238 ACTIVE LANE KEEPING ASSIST (FAP)
23P DRIVING PACKAGE
253 REAR-END COLLISION WARNING AND PROTECTION SYSTEM (Parking? Driving?)
266 DISTRONIC PLUS CROSS SUPPORT (DTR+Q) ?????
266 DISTRONIC PLUS CROSS SUPPORT (DTR+Q)
268 EXPANDED BRAKE ASSIST (BAS+)
269 BRAKE ASSIST PLUS CROSS TRAFFIC (BAS+Q)
271 AUTONOMOUS BRAKE INTERVENTION/WARN. FOR PED. PROT.
300 COLLISION MINIMIZATION BRAKE INTERV./WARNING (CMS)

Really all the luxury features but the panoramic sunroof! I would rather have that that the driver's assist
I am being pretty spoiled with the ventilated/massaging seats though!
I am amused that the front-end was damaged in an accident despite all the technology - but then again, I have driven on the Beltway and know that the only technology that will prevent accidents on that ****show is the teleporter and avoiding the damn thing altogether!
I am not sure why the Lighting package shows as 608 and 640 though. I checked a pretty plain 350 that did not have those options vs an E 63S where it is standard and it did have those options. I guess 2015 is where the 319 option was used.

Pano roof is so overrated IMO. I have it on both my E's and would rather have a standard roof 1. It creaks and pops. 2. Daylight in always coming in from overhead. 3. The blind has to be fully open to crack. I'd rather have a solid roof where I can crack the roof without opening the shade.
Diver's assist is awesome, as are dynamic seats. Both of mine 212s only have a dynamic drivers seat (even my 16 wagon) and both of my data cards lists 432 DYNAMICS SEAT,FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT. I also have 608 & 640 full LED on the 16.

I was confused by the 432. Thought it was only Driver's seat! I saw on a 2013 with lighting package had 608 and 615 (bi-xenon though of course). So I am happy to believe this is the lighting package!
Going to Raleigh tomorrow to look and at hopefully purchase!
Oh, BTW, I can't believe at least 50% of wagons have a black interior!

The more I see these wagons the more I like them. Sadly, I've never seen one in person but from the guys that post them on here they sure look sexy.
I have the panoramic roof on my E550 and have ZERO issues with it. I've only opened it a few times but it's smooth as butter. No leaks, no squeaks, no pops, no anything. Yes, light always comes in. I've driven it in 100 degree heat with no problem, no noticeable heat leakage, Having said all that... I would prefer to not have it as well... simply because I don't use it, and not having it means it's less can go wrong with the car.

OK, the panoramic sunroof wouldn't be for me. It would be for my 120 pound dog (golden/black lab mix - looks like an oversized yellow lab) to poke his head out of! I can't stop laughing thinking about people's reactions to that!

Not to be "that guy", but I hope you would only do that at stops. I shudder to think of the amount of debris and dust and dirt that could very easily hit his eyes or go up his nose.

Well, first of all, I don't have the sunroof but hypothetically yes I would let him do it around town! Have you ever seen/heard of Doggles (goggles for dogs)? I have looked around for a sidecar for him, but can't find one that he will fit in (and that I can afford!).

Well she is mine. The Distronic is fascinating. I have to tweak it so it doesn't leave such a large gap. And it is annoying that so many drivers believe they have a God-given right to go whatever speed they want in the left lane. Distronic is not happy at all passing them on the right!
But the wildest thing. It was a long day. I left Raleigh at 7:15. 3:15 and 250 miles later I was closing in on my hotel when the Attention Assistant alerted me it was time for a break! Damn, it was actually right! I never expected that to work. To be proven wrong on the very first day of ownership is pretty staggering.

Congrats! I'm sure you will enjoy it!
The first time I took the wagon on a longer drive that happened as well. And yes the slower folks on the left is annoying.

I'm old and have had many cars. I presently have 70,000 trouble free miles on my E350 wagon. I'm still on the original brakes. I thought something would break or wear out by now. I love this wagon.

Hey, another recent wagon owner with a dog!
Looks like we were shopping around the same time. I ended up with a black wagon with beige interior. Also has the standard sunroof on my wagon instead of panoramic roof. The active multi-contour seats was great on the long drive home.

Yeah, I don't quite think your dog could stick his head of the panoramic sunroof! Note that I was surprised that about 50% of wagons had black interiors (no go with the dog) and more than 50% had the sport suspension (I live in Pennsylvania)…. My dog is bummed that the sleeker car has less cargo room for him but he still has the easy access and can look out the window easily!
