Starting looking for Replacement soon...?
For those in the same situation, just wondering what's your thoughts on this.
Looking for another E class, or another Mercedes (C, S, or SUV...), or another brand altogether?
With the C class getting slightly larger, we looked into it, but the interior styling is too garish, esp the pop-up looking nav/entertainment screen.
The S class is just too expensive.
So maybe another E for us, or 5 series, or A6.
CPO with extended warranty looks enticing.
Always wanted to do European Delivery, sounds like a fun trip...
Thoughts...?

Anyway, yes European delivery is good with the 7% off and you don't pay destination so you save about an additional $1000 which I guess could go toward the trip over there. I think there's a couple of other vendors mentioned in those forums who will also discount off the 7% so you might get something as high as 10 to 11% off MSRP depending on the time of the year. I do automatically dismiss the newer E300/E350 as those are just 4 cylinders, doesn't seem right to have a turbo 4 in a luxury car. Probably E450 and up.
Get that.
My dealer keeps trying to take my E550 in on trade for this car and has been sending me emails and snail mails non-stop. I'm going in for service Thursday, so maybe I take a peek.

My 18 year-old C-Class is as solid today as when new. No rattles, creaks or groans... i.e., no money pit.
If you just want an excuse for a European vacation, then that is another matter, maybe... Except you probably can't get a MB-SUV on a European delivery.

Being European -born I am big fan of European delivery option, but the only new MB we bought was assembled in .... Alabama.
Traveling is my family tradition and even my wife start to like it.
Years ago I rent a car in Paris and took it around 9 countries. Great memories, so when you have a chance, take a month of vacations, negotiate extended insurance and go for it.
Don't think they would allow it, but if you could bring diesel, 4M wagon ot US, you could drive it here till warranty expires and sell for about purchase price after.
Yes, I've got extended warranty out to 7 yrs.
Luv the twin turbo 6 so far. But thought it's the E43 to get turbo 6 instead of the 4 cylinder, but name now is E450?
So we have sponsoring vendors on here that'll do 10 - 11% off msrp for Euro delivery?
Wow, that'll be awesome, since I'm looking forward to doing the Autobahn before the pols get rid of unlimited speed limits.
But I've always come back to the States with speeding tickets from rental cars while in Europe without being on Autobahn yet...

Took me 4 hr 10 min from Polish to Holland border in rental Rover. .. it was raining about 1/2 of the time.
no tickets even I drove 180-200 kph in France and Italy, where limits are 130.

Occasionally I see red MB, who is C class and I start drooling. The few burgundy W210 sedans are gaining value just becouse of color.
Than you go to shopping mall and see 500 silver cars. on parking lot.
