**engine signature badge missing*** replacement wanted for my 2011 E63 AMG
Just picked up a 2011 E63 AMG and noticed the name and signature badge plate that is located on top the manifold is missing. How do I figure out who built my car? How do I get a replacement badge? I've tried contacting dealers and AMG and no responses.

The records are with Mercedes, but you would need to reproduce the plaque and quite frankly not sure why. Engine plaques are a kind of gimmick anyway. I never looked at the one on my C32 AMG and can say the same for my GT350 engine plaque. Nice to know they are partially hand assembled and that's about it.

Yeah it just looks odd having a blank silver square in the middle of the engine. Can someone figure out at least who built my car?
