Slight bump from gearbox after stop
Hi
I get a slight bump from the gearbox when I come to a stop - tends to more prevalent when the car is warm. It's a bit annoying - anyone know what it is? I don't believe it's anything to do with the HOLD function as I don't have that enabled and the car indeed moves again when I take my foot off the brake. It also happens in all modes (M/S/E) as far as I recall.
Car is 2011 E350 CDi AMG and i think i have the 7gtronic box
thanks

Have someone with MB Xentry pull fault codes and check for software update(s). Europe CDI model so not sure if attached bulletin applies but worth mentioning if you choose dealer.

great thanks - will do
Small update - it actually doesn't happen in S mode on the transmission, so I am guessing it's something to with getting from 2nd to "neutral" or whatever gear it's in at a standstill. Further, at one point today, just sitting in traffic on the brake and there was suddenly a more noticeable rumble/vibration from the gearbox.
I wonder would a simple oil change sort these things out? car has 140k miles and no obvious indication in the history that the gearbox oil was ever changed (unless it's assumed in "Service A" and "Service B" schedules on the history).
