Transmission Maintenance Question

I have a 2011 E350 W212 I have my car serviced faithfully at the dealer. My question is is there some type of supplement you can add to your transition in between having the transmission serviced at the dealer? I know we add fuel supplement and sometimes oil supplements to our cars and I was wondering if there was a supplement out there for the transmission? Thank you in advance. I’m a novice, so be nice!

Ok, I'll be nice. Additives are basically a scam. It's hope in a bottle and additional dealer profit. They sell them because people buy them. Luckily for you, it's really hard to just add some additive to the transmission. I don't think there's a dipstick tube for the transmission so to add something you'd have to drop the pan to change the fluid and put it in when changing the fluid. But all you need to do is change the fluid on a regular basis. No need for additives.

my experience is stay away from any supplement, fuel treatment is ok but it has to come from big name like Mobile 1/Chevron...etc
