E250 CGI Throttle Lag
Hello Everyone, I have a w212 E250 CGI with the 5 Speeds transmission and 100,000 KM, the car is acting sometimes like the below:
when I want to accelerate I push the throttle but it doesn't,t respond for a 2 sec maybe, then it launches itself like crazy(can be dangerous in some circumstances) it is like the transmission isn't downshifting at the correct moment. there is no CEL. I tried the TCU reset procedure but it improved things for a short time and then it came again.
it is very random and doesn't happen all the time. I can drive the car for days smoothly without any lag and then it reappears from nowhere.
Your help is really appreciated as in my country the repair procedure is mostly done by throwing parts without any correct diagnostic.

if this is the case why does the car sometimes act normal without any delay and other times it has a lot of delay. is there any software update for this issue maybe?
