Hello all, looking for info. I've got a 2010 E350 4Matic, and it needs brakes. I've used the VIN decoder here on the forum, but I'm still a little confused. What is the difference between the Luxury and Sport designations? My car has drilled front rotors and 18 inch rims...would that be the sport edition? If so, the rotors would be 322 mm, correct? And the AMG edition would have the 344 mm rotors?

Speaking of Sport vs Luxury vs Avant... the main differences are cosmetic and suspension, in the past the sport models had smaller tires in the front which does make it handle better and 4matic's all of your tires were the same size for the all wheel drive to function right. Most of the brake hardware is tied to the chassis you have.. but I think the 4matics changed a few years ago so they work with smaller front tires now. (I'm not a tech and could be wrong but just fyi).

I would just get the parts on FCPeuro. Lifetime warranty on the pads and rotors that you buy from them. All the parts they sell have a lifetime warranty. Anyway, I believe they just show options for sports or not and the sport ones are cross drilled. I think the AMG you're referring to is just an appearance package and it's not the same as AMG brakes. Those only come on real AMGs and you should be happy that you don't have them as they're pretty expensive for the pads and rotors.
