35 offset wheels?
Looking at a set of wheels for my wife's car. All I really want is a set of flow formed wheels to attempt to help with the potholes around here (bought/repaired 9 wheels in 2 years). Found a good price on a set that we like but they are a +35 offset, stock is +48. I'd really like something that's exactly the same size as stock but would pushing the wheels out the extra 1/2" rub at all? I do like the look but I want to make sure it won't cause any problems. Pics might be nice too. Sorry, I did try to search but I didn't find anything useful relating directly to running a +35 offset on a bone stock W212 Sport. Thanks!

You are not saying what width tire you are planning to use, but I have monoblocks with 35 offset and 245 wide tires on my W212 and they fit just fine.
The only disadvantage of wheels sticking more outside is extra dirt on the car from splashing.

Sorry my bad, keeping everything stock, 245/40-18.
So the tires aren't sticking out, though, right? I mean, from the fender. I get that there's more "exposed" tire down low at the rockers. And no rubbing at all?
