W212 headlight repair bracket kit
Hello everyone I’m just looking to see if anyone can help me I need to replace the main top headlight bracket due to it being snapped.
ive purchased the kit from MERCEDES but can’t figure out how to fit it or if I need to cut off some of the original bracket.
would anyone have a how to from Mercedes to help me please ?

I haven't done this on a W212 but I installed the repair kits on a W211. I had to cut off the remainder of the original tabs. The repair brackets fit over the nubs and there were actually mounting posts on the headlight assembly to screw down the repair brackets. How much you have to cut/shave was a trial-and-error procedure. Cut, fit, cut again. Repeat until the repair bracket seats all the way down. Sorry, but I didn't take any pics.
