Ghost stripes
I saw black stripes on white body on a W212..thought it was pretty interesting....wondered if anyone has ever seen or have pics of black on black ghost stripe(s) on a W212

About stripes. Flat black stripes on glossy colors are not unusual. Ford Mustangs from the 1960's had them. Boss 302s, Mach 1's, etc. Several Mopars too. I attended High School during this era, so its not an original idea.
Flat black stripes on a gloss black car are not unusual, either. Nor would glossy stripes on flat paint be unusual. TV show "Counting Cars" features both styles on occasion.
I've not seen it on an E-Class Mercedes, although I'm sure someone out there thinks his 2-ton E-Class is a '69 Mach 1 Mustang.

It was only intended to see if there was something out there showing this on a W212... wasn't comparing to any other automaker... only could find a representation of my idea(as requested by first responder) with a non W212 example... or I wouldnt have inquired at all...
