Rear Suspension Dropping-W212 Wagon

I have a 2011 MB 350 Wagon, with 197,176 Miles. Recently, I've noticed the rear suspension drops after sitting for a couple of days. When I start the car up, it raises up very quickly. I put a Foxwell NT510 that registers a bad Electronic Level Control - 2. Not exactly sure what this is and was wondering if anyone out there in MBWorld can give me some guidance on the problem, solution and perhaps cost range? Fault code 556884.

It's out of tolerance because the body is too low. You need a set of air springs. I've had good luck with RMT and with Arnott.

Yes, you need new air springs like fc3 says. Your car is of age to need them. My car has 4 air springs and I just replaced all of them a couple months ago.

Rear springs are like $280/piece + installation that can be free if you do it yourself. In my car it was very easy job.

Thanks soooo much! Didn’t know what I might be up against. So you don’t suggest MB OEM springs?

if you want to spend more money but Arnott is way cheaper replacement part and is just as good quality.
