Does anyone know anything about the Mercedes me adapter? Someone on Facebook was talking about them and I got interested.

You mean the Mercedes Me app for the iPhone?

I use it with Sadie and it's useful. Functionality varies by model and year of production.

There IS a hardware "Mercedes Me" adapter for older cars not equipped with it internally. It's an OBDII adapter. Mercedes Me is not offered worldwide.

Beyond that, I do not know how it works. This video helps...

Interesting!
Mercedes Me is useful, but the version I have doesn't have remote start. Would be nice to have that capability, but it's non-trivial to add.

I called MB USA and the remote start come in 2016. Might small time difference between production time if that is available, or not.
There is several aftermarket suppliers, but you need to be really determined to spend $500 for the box and then worry how to make it working.

If the adapter is costing yoto money to install. I would not bother with it. In Ireland it was free, so I got it but it's very basic if you're car is pre-2016,
