DRL upgrade problems
Quite new to this forum , but i've been here as a guest for sometime.
Live in Sweden and have an 350cdi 4matic year 2010.
Some time ago i upgraded my drl's from hockey sticks to straight one's.
After that they don't dim at night and meeting drivers become very irritated becuase the drl's are very bright.
I tried the search function and found similar questions but no solution.
Anyone who knows what to do?

I really think the Merc's sunroof button design is bulls*t. It moves in 3 separate directions (up, down, back), yet is only supported by 2 tiny tiny prongs in front and 2 in back!!! No wonder Ebay sells a ton of options for these buttons. I don't even use the sunroof much, but noticed the button is broken. So, even though I don't use it much, it bothers me that it is hanging loose. So, it was in my 10th year project list. Repair done!
Merc, just make separate 2 buttons, no prongs!
Frustration! The rearview mirror is loose, which I don't mind. But, when it movies around when going over bumps, it's bothering. I read up some ideas on the forum and tried the cable tie method. Seems a little tighter, but not satisfied. There is a metal ring that goes over the ball joint. The cable tie goes over the ring as tight as possible, but I'm having mediocre results. If anyone has a better idea over buying a new unit, please let me know. Oh well, the upshot is the unit is really clean and I also wrapped the wires with cloth electric tape to cover the deteriorating wire foam (see photo).
