I had a 914 in the late 70's, traded it for a fiat X19, dumb. If you wax the Porche-ah with carnauba instead of synthetics the reds will pop, my buddie's is a night and day difference on the Blue he says and I agree. we both mostly use Meguires ultimate paste and liquid, I can't use the liquid on my Cavansite Blue as it streaks really badly. He also has the LS460 F Sport, I recommend the Lexus all the time to non-car people! He actually uses Turtle wax on the Macan, cheap and gorgeous.

The Macan will be getting a paint correction, detail, and a ceramic coating. That provided amazing results on the E350 and eliminates the need for waxing. I'll share pics here when it's done.

We are well and truly enjoying the Macan.. what an awesome vehicle. No SUV should drive/handle/brake this well. And the cold start sound..
Highly recommended if anyone needs a little more practicality to go with their W212.

Love those two! awesome! Liked that Suzuki a lot, if I hadn't lucked out on the Ducati, I would have gotten the Katana! Hope you get more good bike weather than I do which is three months max a year here in the "Snow Belt"

Snow Belt!!! I'm in Syracuse, NY......120" of snow per year, average!!! The Ducati's sound better, but we don't have a local duck dealer anymore! I would like the newer bikes' ABS, traction control and stability control!! Maybe a Ninja 1000 with bags for overnights....

Looking sharp, @LILBENZ230 !
Have you done the paint correction and ceramic coating on it yet? If not, before and after pics would be really cool!

Glad you’re enjoying it so much!
What tint are you using? I’m switching from whatever the previous owner put on mine to 40% 3M Cystaline as part of my retrofit of the acoustic laminated side windows. Installing next week and excited to see if it makes a significant difference.

LLumar FormulaOne Ceramic for both Benz and Macan.
Benz has 30% sides, 15% rear windshield, 15% windshield strip.
The Macan will get 30% front side, 50% rear side (already privacy glass), 15% rear windshield, and 15% windshield strip.

Wow! You like a dark tint! No legal problems where you are?

32% is legal in GA for a sedan. The Macan's back windows can be as dark as we want.. which is odd that's acceptable for an SUV but not a sedan. The Macan's privacy glass is already 17% VLT. But no UV protection.
Both of my cars have light beige interiors and lots of ambient light (you're familiar with the Benz, and the Macan has some bright white ambient lighting in all doors and overhead). Actually the Macan has such a ridiculously light beige interior that Porsche got sued over it (look up Luxor Beige and the sunglass settlement). So as dark as possible without really drawing attention is what we're after. The Macan also has a panoramic roof that can let in a lot of light.

At least the Benz uses dark brown on the dash and door panels. The Porsche is beige on beige on beige. It definitely needs dark tints.
