Newbie looking for advice
Hi - new here.
Currently driving a '14 C300 4Matic sedan which I love, but looking at a '16 E350 Wagon.
There's one here in New England with 61k miles for sub 30k (my budget).
Clear carfax and been serviced properly at MB dealer throughout it's life. Appears very clean, but I'm just struggling pulling the trigger. Concerns are mainly mileage and road salt.
Any thoughts on whether you'd dive in on this or keep looking would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Lee

Miles are a bit higher than average for a 2016 depending on the original in service date.. if the car was sold in earlier 2015 then this would be average. The 2014-2016 212 cars are well sorted and reliable. They fixed the rear subframe rust issues starting in 2012, I believe, so road salt should not be any bigger issue than it would be with any car.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about road salt. There's lots of aluminium parts these days so no rust in the normal spots. I'd just get an undercarriage wash at a car wash, even some DIY spray hose places now have the undercarriage wash as an option. My 2008 E-350 doesn't have any rust on the body although some of the mechanical parts underneath have some surface rust. There's lots of body panels that cover all that up though.

Lilbenz230 / cetialpha5 - thanks for your responses!
I settled on a 2016 CPO with 30k miles. Spent a little more than I had originally planned, but figure I'll be keeping it a long, long time, so well worth it. Glad to hear salt (if maintained properly) shouldn't be an issue.
Have a great one.
