HVAC 'rest' function on a 2016?

That said, the aux water pump can be used for 2 purposes (didn't we talk about it already?):
1- hot coolant circulation for better cabin heating
2.circulating the coolant after hot engine shut-down for evening "hotspots"
Even the 2nd option to my knowledge is used only on SUVs, I wouldn't be surprised if MB used it with hot-weather package.
With complexity those cars are reaching, MB doesn't inform drivers about all the features as it would exceed average person education.
Takes forum dispute to exchange "hands on experience"

I have to check if my tropical version has this feature, if that baby pump is so very silent, I may missed it.
I hope to have this feature #2 to cool the turbo bearings as that baby pump suction is also connected to the turbo coolant line and the HVAC heater.
Thanks K1

You pay shipping and it is yours. Beware that starting with W124 those pumps have double outlets, where 2nd is heating windshield tank.
