Hi all! I did search for this but had some inconclusive results
I am a current lessee of a 2016 C450 but am looking at a 2016 W212 when my lease ends. One of the “must haves” of my current car was the ability to plug and go my iPhone, and also being able to play Sirius XM. I have all my music on there (and play Met Opera Radio all the time lol) so this is pretty important. The C43 (ish) COMAND does a great job, being able to shuffle all my songs, handle a large library and interface with Sirius. I think the W212 is a step behind in technology but I’m not sure exactly how far behind
Can y’all share what your experience is with the system in the E63? Plug location, adapters needed, integration with COMAND, etc? I will be very grateful

With the updated firmware installed, you can unlock CarPlay in the 2016 W212. That would satisfy your every need.
