Attention Houston M278's - TCU tuning coming **THIS** Weekend - May 23rd!!!
This is, by far, the best bang for the buck mod next to an ECU tune for these cars... We're coming to Houston to knock out some AMG's this coming weekend, and wanted to open it up to y'all as well! PM me for details, but the basics are increased torque limiters, increased line pressure, and decreased shift times. This has shown massive improvements in the AMG cars in all metrics... 60ft, 0-60, 1/8th and 1/4 mile ET's... Price is $1,800 out the door, and we need a $300 deposit to sign up. Visit the dedicated website we set up ---->>> www.eurochargedatx.info - 722.9 TCU Tuning - This is good for TC and MCT cars.
Again, PM for any questions - or call the shop - 512-777-2799. Looking forward to meeting some of you
We need your VIN ahead of time to write the tune - so don't wait until the last minute if you're interested.
Thanks!
Dave

Dang-it...
Alright Dave...I guess I'm going to have to be the guinea pig...
If I stop by Wednesday, can you get me tuned up? Looking to test your theory of me running 10's! 🤯
Well, as soon as my new fuel pump comes in anyway...don't need that to get the tune though. I'll just have to be extra careful with the loud-pedal...hard as that is going to be...

Already planning a trip to SoCal. Go check out the website You MUST pre-register, and put in the deposit. Probably do two in NorCal as well, just haven't pinned down the shops, one will be near Sacremento, the other in the Bay.

Also do you have a date in mind before I register for the one in Costa Mesa at Star Motor Werks? I have to make sure I have availability to take time off of work since I'm guessing this will be on a weekday and it's about an hour away from me.

We will wait to set a date until enough people have signed up. I promise it will not be spur of the moment - probably 2-3 weeks or so after we get the roster full
Thanks!

wow...all I can say is wow...I DEFINITELY need some drag radials now!
I went out friday night after I installed the new fuel pump and ran an 11.5 @ 121 on asphalt, spinning my *** off!
Going to be going to HRP friday night...prepped track should offer more grip!
Dave, I think it's almost time...

Well, I was able to make it to Houston, but the track was trash and there were so many people there I only got 2 runs...neither of which were anything to brag about(11.9 & 11.7), BUT, I was able to practice launching on the concrete streets of Mexico and was able to launch the car on boost at about 2800 rpm and get a 1.7 60' time on street tires spinning all the way thru 1st gear... I was running 2.0 60' times before tune.
The TCU tune is the bomb, for sure, but I HAVE to get more tire, lol. I've decided on 17" TSW Bathursts to match my 19's I have on the car now with either a 245/45r17 or 275/40r17 Nitto NT555RII. I should be able to get new wheels and tires ordered tomorrow or the next day so hopefully I'll have them sometime next week.
