Owner Travels To Germany To Complain

I came across this article recently, and was stunned that even an actual trip to MB Headquarters in Stuttgart got this Canadian owner no where!

A power loss to an electric steering will NOT cause it to locked up, what will happen is like the older belt pump assisted power steering belt or hose failure....where we need to apply probably 600-1,000% more force to spin the steering at parking
but at speed is not too bad.

I guess new drivers never experienced older cars without power steering ... LOL.

News business has to be very lousy when they write such articles.
Being immigrant to USA I experienced myself that warranties given in America are often shocking. Lot of things are sold with "lifetime warranty". Than lot of places sell stuff with "satisfaction guarantee" who mostly last 30 days, but mean you can use product for 30 days and return with no question ask. Costco will refund 5 years old mattress and the only thing hard to refund with them is underwear.
So it might be cultural class after-all.
But Germany is very desired country to see and I always give my recommendations for "European delivery" when 1 buys new MB. Travels really open men's brain and are excelent way to spend vacations. Living now in Vegas, I am amazed how many tourist are coming here year after year and when they know casinos and buffets, they have no idea about monuments like Red Rock Canyon or Valley of Fire. So I think there is much more to the story, that wasn't written.
