S212 Just Lowered

Hey everyone I just lowered my 14' S212 and am now looking at wheels, I frequent the city a lot so i'm thinking 19's are the way to go. Looking to go with what I believe are C43/63 wheels below. Since they are staggered and I'd rather not go that route because of 4matic and riding around on all-seasons i'm trying to pick up 2 sets in the 9.5 width. Curious to hear thoughts/opinions or suggestions. I installed H&R springs up front and links in the rear as I have the self leveling air.

Love the color-matched Thule! If you want to lower your box too, these Yakima Whispbars are probably the lowest profile out there.

Thanks for the info, do those allow you to open the pano roof? Or at least tilt?

I haven't tried just 'cause I don't open the pano ever, but it looks too close to risk.

Hmmm, i'd be afraid of one of my kids pressing the roof button open. I do prefer that look though.

Unfortunately the box is off for the summer or I'd go out there and try it. Ping me in October and I'll check! Something to consider re wheels; I've had to repair 4 bent stock 18" rims over the past 2 years at $200/per due to horrendous potholes. Wouldn't even consider 19" in my area.

Sorry for the late reply, to answer your question, yes, the drop was 1.4. These are the ones I used up front H&R 29076-8. The links I got were these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-18-MER....m46890.l49292

Did you end up getting these springs? I'm removing mine this weekend if you are interested along with the links. Wife hates the lowered drive

I hope your destinations will not have funny road humps or rural creek crossing with kinda pronounced "hill" ............
My E400 come as a 950 option being standard, which I believe is a bit lower ground clearance than standard non 950 option.

The under carriage scrubbing is an issue for me and not the front spoiler... Well, 3rd world country problem I guess.
Actually my current rear tire is now( during the tearing ) is giving 9mm taller ground clearance at the back, compared to original configuration. Was 265/35 and now 255/40. 18" rim/wheel.

Drive safe....

i also irdered the 29076-8. It says it on the bix but on the spring it says 29076-2. Wondering if yours says the same.
