Got my CarPlay box in the mail today and unboxed it. Install tomorrow. Already ran into my first issue (user error, may not apply to all). The auxiliary cord coming from the CarPlay unit is a male end and the MMI adapter to AUX is a male end as well. I went to Target and Walmart tonight to try and find a 3.5mm female to female but no luck. I will check Best Buy and Fry's tomorrow. I may need to buy a new Mercedes Media Interface cable that is MMI to female AUX. I purchased my current one years ago and it is aftermarket. Never saw this coming. Make sure to check yours.
I think on the NTG 4.5+ you don't need to plug into factory AUX but I believe our is different.

The problem I'm having is: Once my iPhone X bluetooth pairs to the CP box, the screen goes blank. Then I have to reset the display by pressing the on/off/volume button, wait for a click that's heard coming from behind the dash (~10 secs), then turn on the radio to get the display back. Changing the dip switches does nothing to solve the problem.
But I'll contact Kremersio to find out how to troubleshoot this. My hope is for those of you that have a 4.0 CP box, you have better luck than me. Once I get word from the seller, I'll post back my results. Good luck to you guys

@S550e Today I had a chance to install the Kremersino 4.0. Everything's easy to install if you follow the video at the top of the thread (W204). One thing I would recommend is to test everything before you reinstall, otherwise you risk having to disassemble all over again.

My iPhone and wireless CarPlay fire up right away with no issues. I am not sure what is the cause of yours doing that.

Here's the firmware that came installed:
