2013 Loud blower noise
2013 E350 Wagon, whenever I start the car the noise coming from the blower sounds like a jet taking off, now I know that it has to work hard to cool 120 degree cabin but should it be so loud that I have to yell to passengers? After speed comes down its not silent but not loud either.
My question is this normal or the bearings in the blower are close to done?
This is not a chirping/squealing that generally associated with bad motor, just sounds like you are inside a wind tunnel with gale force wind.

I find the highest fan level to be very loud on my car and I do not believe my blower to have issues. The noise reduction is very significant going down one level, but easily audible still. Another level down is audible but quiet
If it bothers you greatly you can manually control the fan speed, especially when the interior is hot. The car does seem to take the approach of cooling down as fast as possible in auto mode.
