Coilovers install issues
I've been lurking around this forum on and off for a while. By chance does anyone have a how to on how to install the rear coilover springs for an adjustable coilover kit like BC. I'm not sure what end the adjustable spring perch is supposed to go on??? Top or the spring or bottom of the spring? Any help or pics would be appreciated. P.S. yes I have been searching for videos and pics and nothing successful when it comes to the W212 platform....

Before you start the BC coil over conversion, best to check how many KG per millimeter is the spring spec.
You may end up getting a very HARSH suspension like my Ford Fiesta at 200% KG/mm value over standard OEM spring and I finally removed the BC coilover within 1 week.
Also since coil-over is adjustable, not having a 4 wheel weighting system with a coil-over is not really the way to go.
You may end up damaging your car balance/traction, because you have zero clue to the corner weight balance of the 4 wheels.
Below images/data are for STANDARD/OEM SACHS shock absorber and springs ( brand I don't know ).
.
If you do not understand or have no acess about/to corner weight system, avoid experimenting with coil-over.
The very reason coil over is choosen is due to weight distribution adjustablility ( up to a point ).
Proper corner weight balance is more important than stiffer suspension or worse adjustable suspension which we have no way to verify, except with our "butt-dyno".
Good luck....
