2011 Mercedes E-350 Sport fourmatic sedan
excess tire cupping on 2011 Benx E350 sport 4-Matic sedan
Been a Mercedes owher for many years, pamper my
vehicles. Vehicle has 56k miles, all svcs performed,
fluids, brakes, filters, alignments.
my only concern, dislike has been with tires, cupping at 7500 mi, chopping inside-outside ribs,
ungodly roaring starting at 40MPH. Selling DLR
svc mgr DECLINED to meet with me from my first svc visit. And so, after replacing four sets of premium
tires, I have decided to take the car to a Canton, Oh
Dealer to get s RF Torque thrust arm/ bushing, etc,
related parts.
note, for a matter of record, my Benz had never
had balance, tire pull, or low tire pressure. My thoughts are that dealers should not profess to owners that "chopped front tires", are a normal
condition on a model that constantly scores 4.5 out
of 5, in "owner satisfaction". I've been to Germany
msny times over the years and noticed the E class
Benz outnumbers other models, makes, in the
hundreds at airports all over Europe,.......and so, I
can't accept a NPF answer on a premium high end
vehicle.
