Lifter Noise
Anyone else with an E550 biturbo have lifter noise? It's made this noise for the three years that I have owned the car.

Given the age of the car and where the direct injection technology was back then, are you sure it’s not the high pressure fuel pump or injectors? My 2014 350 ticks along as well. BMW’s back then sounded like lawn mowers as well.
