I installedthisbecause driving around with no bass was driving me nuts. EspeciallyaftergoingfrommyBMW F10 HK logic7 sound system (Excellent), to the Mercedes Variant (which I rate 4/10 in my audiophile opinion). Install was fairly simple.HardestpartofthewholeDIY was finding a decent way to get High level input/Remote Wire out of AMP in a safe/secure fashion. I did it this way because I didn't want to dismantle or cut factory wiring. There are CANbus leads in the harness bundle, and its very easy to drive the CANbus nuts by introducing noise/interference from aftermarket connections. Look at the attached PDF for more info. I used jonUF02 & RNBRAD’s posts as reference for my install. I recorded most of the install, gonna drop it on youtube later this week. (Just search ToneyDark on youtube). Lot more DIYs to come.
