Carplay/Android Auto OBD Plug
Hello,
Does anyone have a spare OBD plug to unlock Android Auto/Apple Carplay for the 2016 E Class from Vlad on ebay? Are they only able to be used once, or would someone be willing to sell me their used one?

To my knowledge, no one else has tried to reuse the OBD, because it's supposedly a one-timer, tied to the car it's used with first. Keep in mind that the device is supposedly used to restore AA/ACP to the linked Comand system if there is ever a problem, or if a dealership works on the Comand system and somehow deletes AA/ACP. Sharing the device will likely end this capability. No one has had this experience, yet, or at least no one has written of it here.

Thanks, appreciate the response. I ask because like one other person in the original thread, Vlad randomly blocked me from purchasing and hasn't responded. My car is compatible, (I double-checked myself) and also confirmed with him. However now he won't allow me to purchase via eBay. I am wondering why and if there is another way to purchase it, otherwise I will have to go with the full dealer method.

Thanks, yeah these are the listings that I am apparently blocked from for no reason.
Edit: Contacted him on WhatsApp and cleared everything up. Sent him payment and now just waiting. I feel confident however due to the feedback from this forum.
