1st Merc after 14 years of Jags
Thought I would share my last month in here since you guys have helped me out a bit in the past few weeks. Picked up my new car just over a month ago after a long ownership with Jaguar. I had every XJR from the X300 and finished on a 2012 XFR
I got tired of the £50 a month tax after 2.5 years and decided to move it on at 112k miles.
I'm now the owner of the below 39k example with Full MBSH and it's in lovely condition. Really impressed so far with the car the build quality is excellent.

Decided not to go with window tints in the due to the dot matrix around the rear window and small side windows. The white line they leave due to the tints not seating correctly wouldn't help my OCD.
So instead I've gone for fitted blinds, quite pleased with the results will see better in daylight

I've also replaced interior head and footwell lights front and rear along with the exterior puddle lamps with Philips Extreme 501 bulbs in 6000k.

Welcome to the forums mate, your car looks superb! I was always a Jaguar fan....that is until 2010 when what happened.....happened

I am a recovered Jaguar fan. I owned a 1982 XJ-6. It was beautiful but Lucas electrics, oil leaks and other "features" caused me to throw in the towel.
Which XJR was your favorite? I liked the X300. I faded out of the Jag scene after that.

How was your ownership experience of the '12 XFR? I'd like to own a Jaguar at some point and the X351 XJ has turned my head hard. At this point I'm pretty sure some V8 variant of it will be my next car.
