Wiper Blades
I bought a set of Bosch Icon blades to install. and they look horrible. The adapter sticks up so much further then the OEM. Has anyone replaced the refills on the OEM blades? I tried this morning and it is a nightmare. Trying to keep the two metal pieces even when sliding the refill on is impossible. Anyone done this before? Know of a video I can watch? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I buy the bosch and take them apart and put the bosch rubber onto the Mercedes benz arms. Works great and it looks like the MB wiper. The mb wiper rubber is cheap garbage. Nothing but problems with the MB rubber. A arms are great from mb just the rubber is bad. Check similar threads and you will get an ear full of the problems with MB wipers.

Never had the problem. But I bought bosch icons. It was hard getting the oem off but the refills just slid on with no problems. Are you sure you have the correct Bosch for your ride

I have Bosch wiper blades on mine, and don't have that, I think you got the one with the universal adapter. You need to get W212/S212 specific Bosch wipers. That's the issue.

The Icons are the made to fit hundreds of different applications. The Bosch Aero twin is the same exact thing has the Mercedes blades without the Star logo. I purchased them from FCPeuro (free replacements). link below.... but keep in mind that there was a slight change in march 2014, so make sure your getting the corrects set. You can verify on Bosch's site. I have a 2014

My 2016 has standard PTB adapter. I also purchased the wipers that KillBillz purchased from FCP Euro. Identical to factory blade in both performance and appearance, free replacements forever.
